The FHWA, on behalf of the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), is issuing this notice to announce actions taken by FDOT and other Federal agencies that are final agency actions. These actions relate to the proposed Truck Parking--Central Florida Corridor: Orange County Site (Financial Management Number 446445-3) the Orange County Site is located on the northeast corner of Sand Lake Road and John Young Parkway, immediately west of and adjacent to Florida's Turnpike, approximately 2.90 miles east of Interstate 4 (I-4). The site will supply approximately 93 truck parking spaces and a centralized restroom building with restroom facilities, and an office for security staff. The recommended site will provide needed truck parking facilities to address existing truck parking deficiencies and accommodate future truck parking demand within or near the I-4 corridor.

FAA will conduct a meeting to discuss flight restrictions at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) to reduce overscheduling and flight delays during peak hours of operation at that airport. This meeting is open to all scheduled air carriers, regardless of whether they currently provide scheduled service to EWR, and to the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, which is the airport operator of EWR. Registration in advance of the meeting is requested. In addition, FAA invites interested persons to submit written information on such schedule reductions. FAA plans to issue its decision on scheduling limitations in a final order.

The Maritime Administration (MARAD) invites public comments on our intention to request approval from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) to renew an information collection in accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995. The proposed collection, OMB 2133-0525 (Application for Participation in the Maritime Security Program) is being revised to align with current statutory authorities and industry practices. Proposed changes include instructions for electronic submission of applications, updates to statutory citations, removal of commercial references that are no longer relevant to the Maritime Security Program (such as capacity of LASH vessels), and changes to certain collected information that better reflects current maritime business practice. We are required to publish this notice in the Federal Register to obtain comments from the public and affected agencies.

The Coast Guard has issued a temporary deviation from the operating schedule that governs the Little River Bridge, across the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway (AICW), mile 347.3, at North Myrtle Beach, SC. South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) requested the Coast Guard consider placing the swing bridge on weekday scheduled openings at designated times to assist with vehicle congestion. This deviation will test a change to the drawbridge operation schedule to determine whether a permanent change to the schedule is needed. The Coast Guard is seeking comments from the public regarding these changes.
