🌍EPA Defers Sanctions

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is making an interim final determination that the State of Alaska has submitted state implementation plan (SIP) revisions that satisfy outstanding Clean Air Act requirements. This interim final determination defers the imposition of sanctions for the 2006 24-hour fine particulate matter (PM<INF>2.5</INF>) Fairbanks North Star Borough PM<INF>2.5</INF> nonattainment area. This determination is based on a proposed approval, published in the "Proposed Rules" section of this Federal Register, of the SIP revisions, submitted by the State of Alaska (Alaska or the State) on December 4, 2024, to address Clean Air Act requirements for the 2006 24-hour PM<INF>2.5</INF> national ambient air quality standards (NAAQS).

⚓Proposed Drawbridge Regulation Changes Impacting Business Traffic

The Coast Guard proposes to change the operating schedule that governs the Blackburn Point Bridge across the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway (GICW), mile 63.1, at Osprey, FL. The Casey Key Association has requested the Coast Guard consider changing the operating schedule to reduce drawbridge openings during the weekday peak traffic periods to assist with alleviating roadway congestion. 🛡️FTC Proposes Extension of Red Flags, Card Issuers, and Address Rules

The Federal Trade Commission ("FTC" or "Commission") requests that the Office of Management and Budget ("OMB") extend for an additional three years the current Paperwork Reduction Act ("PRA") clearance for information collection requirements contained in the Red Flags, Card Issuers, and Address Discrepancy Rules ("Rules"). That clearance expires on January 31, 2025.

🏷️FDA Guidance on Food Allergens and Labeling Requirements

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA or we) is announcing the availability of a revised final guidance for industry entitled "Questions and Answers Regarding Food Allergens, Including the Food Allergen Labeling Requirements of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (Edition 5): Guidance for Industry." The guidance explains FDA's current thinking on a number of issues related to the labeling of food allergens, including requirements in the Food Allergen Labeling and Consumer Protection Act of 2004 (FALCPA) and the Food Allergy Safety, Treatment, Education, and Research Act of 2021 (FASTER Act).

🏥FDA Issues Interim Guidance on Compounding Bulk Drug Substances

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA or Agency) is announcing the availability of a final guidance for industry entitled "Interim Policy on Compounding Using Bulk Drug Substances Under Section 503B of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act." This guidance describes FDA's interim regulatory policy concerning compounding by outsourcing facilities using bulk drug substances while FDA develops the list of bulk drug substances that outsourcing facilities can use in compounding under the applicable section of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FD&C Act). This guidance finalizes the draft guidance of the same title issued in December 2023 and replaces the final guidance of the same title issued in January 2017.

🛩️Proposed Class E Airspace Regulations at Blanding Municipal Airport

This action proposes to establish Class E airspace extending upward from 700 feet above the surface and revoke Class E airspace extending from 1,200 feet above the surface at Blanding Municipal Airport, Blanding, UT. Additionally, this action proposes administrative amendments to update the airport's legal description. These actions would support the airport's current instrument flight rules (IFR) operations that lack containment.

📝Notice on VA Information Collection for Disability Insurance Benefits

Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA), Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), is announcing an opportunity for public comment on the proposed collection of certain information by the agency. Under the Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA) of 1995, Federal agencies are required to publish notice in the Federal Register concerning each proposed collection of information, including each proposed extension of a currently approved collection, and allow 60 days for public comment in response to the notice. DATES: Comments must be received on or before March 10, 2025.

✈️Class E Airspace Amendment for El Dorado, AR by FAA

This action amends the Class E airspace at El Dorado, AR. This action is the result of an airspace review conducted due to the development of new instrument procedures. The geographic coordinates and name of the airport and the name of the El Dorado VOR/DME are also being updated to coincide with the FAA's aeronautical database. This action brings the airspace into compliance with FAA orders and support instrument flight rule (IFR) procedures and operations.
