🚛Navistar's Provisional CDL Exemption Renewal Notice and Implications

FMCSA announces its decision to provisionally renew the exemption currently held by Navistar, Inc. (Navistar) from the commercial driver's license (CDL) regulations for one of its commercial motor vehicle (CMV) drivers. The provisional exemption renewal allows Mr. Thomas Nickels, Senior Vice President of the Cabin and Chassis R&D Group for Navistar's parent company, TRANTON SE, to test drive various Navistar test fleet vehicles on U.S. roads. The provisional exemption renewal is limited to six months. After a review of the public comments to this notice, FMCSA will issue a decision whether the exemption should be renewed through November 2029.

In accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA), the Sonoma State University has completed an inventory of associated funerary objects and has determined that there is a cultural affiliation between the associated funerary objects and Indian Tribes or Native Hawaiian organizations in this notice.

Veterans Benefits Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), is announcing an opportunity for public comment on the proposed collection of certain information by the agency. Under the Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA) of 1995, Federal agencies are required to publish notice in the Federal Register concerning each proposed collection of information, including each proposed extension of a currently approved collection, and allow 60 days for public comment in response to the notice. DATES: Comments must be received on or before March 17, 2025.

⚖️HHS Issues New Drug Testing Guidelines for Federal Workplaces

The Department of Health and Human Services ("HHS" or "Department") herein publishes the panels of Schedule I and II drugs and biomarkers authorized for testing in Federal workplace drug testing programs. The Department has revised the drug testing panels for both urine and oral fluid, and revised required nomenclature for laboratory and Medical Review Officer Reports.

🏛️Proposed Collection on Appraisal Management Companies Regulations

In accordance with the requirements of the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (PRA), the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA or the Agency) is seeking public comments concerning an information collection called the "Minimum Requirements for Appraisal Management Companies," which has been assigned control number 2590-0013 by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). FHFA intends to submit the information collection to OMB for review and approval of a three-year extension of the control number, which is due to expire on March 31, 2025.
