This AD was prompted by a report of corrosion and cracks on the broadband antenna adapter plate during an inspection. This AD requires repetitive general visual inspections of the broadband antenna adapter plate, skirt, vents, and attachment fittings, and applicable corrective actions, and limits the installation of affected parts under certain conditions. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.
