✈️New Airworthiness Directive for Bombardier Aircraft on Hydraulic Systems

The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Bombardier, Inc., Model BD-700-1A10 and BD-700-1A11 airplanes. This AD was prompted by reports of engine-driven pump hydraulic pressure hoses for hydraulic systems number 1 and 2 chafing against the pylon in the aft equipment bay. This AD requires an inspection of the engine-driven pump pressure hoses for any damage and minimum clearance between the engine-driven pump hydraulic pressure hose and case drain, suction pressure hose, and surrounding pylon structure; and corrective actions if necessary. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.

✈️Proposed Airworthiness Directive for Bombardier Airplanes Overview

The FAA proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Bombardier, Inc., Model BD-700-1A10 airplanes. This proposed AD was prompted by a report indicating that the clearance between therapeutic flexible oxygen hoses and electrical harnesses may be non-compliant to design requirements, and that positive separation mechanisms and appropriate protective barriers may not have been installed in accordance with the applicable installation standards. This proposed AD would require a detailed inspection of the therapeutic flexible oxygen hose for damage and protection, and the electrical harnesses for damage; a detailed inspection for the clearance between the therapeutic oxygen rigid tube to oxygen hose elbow fitting (also referred to as elbow fitting), if applicable, and the nearest electrical harness, and between the therapeutic flexible oxygen hose and electrical harness; and applicable related investigative and corrective actions. The FAA is proposing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.

✈️Proposed Airworthiness Directive for Bombardier BD-100-1A10 Airplanes

The FAA proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all Bombardier, Inc., Model BD-100-1A10 airplanes. This proposed AD was prompted by a determination that new or more restrictive airworthiness limitations are necessary. This proposed AD would require revising the existing maintenance or inspection program, as applicable, to incorporate new or more restrictive airworthiness limitations. The FAA is proposing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.

✈️Proposed Airworthiness Directive for Bombardier Airplanes

The FAA proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Bombardier, Inc., Model CL-600-1A11 (600), CL-600-2A12 (601), and CL-600-2B16 (601-3A, 601-3R, and 604 Variants) airplanes. This proposed AD was prompted by tail strikes that occurred during landing with partial flap configurations. This proposed AD would require revising the existing airplane flight manual (AFM) to provide the flightcrew with procedures to follow when landing under certain conditions. The FAA is proposing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.

✈️New Airworthiness Directive for Bombardier Aircraft Maintenance Compliance

The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Bombardier Inc. Model BD-700-1A10 and BD-700-1A11 airplanes. This AD was prompted by a determination that new or more restrictive airworthiness limitations are necessary. This AD requires revising the existing maintenance or inspection program, as applicable, to incorporate new or more restrictive airworthiness limitations. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.

✈️Proposed Airworthiness Directive for Bombardier Airplanes by FAA

The FAA proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all Bombardier, Inc., Model CL-600-2B16 (604 Variant) airplanes. This proposed AD was prompted by reports that the flap system on-board recorder (FSOBR) interfaces with the flap control unit signals and may result in the flap control unit monitors tripping, causing Flap Fail messages and possibly an uncommanded flap movement. This proposed AD would require the disconnection of the FSOBR and prohibit future installation of this system. The FAA is proposing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.

✈️Proposed Airworthiness Directive for Bombardier Aircraft Safety Updates

The FAA proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Bombardier, Inc., Model BD-700-1A10 and BD-700-1A11 airplanes. This proposed AD was prompted by a report that incorrect information was found in certain calculation tables in a section of the airplane flight manual (AFM) that addresses certain slat-flap conditions. This proposed AD would require revising the Non-Normal Procedures section of the existing AFM to provide the flightcrew with corrected procedures to use in certain slat-flap conditions. The FAA is proposing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.

✈️New Airworthiness Directive for Bombardier BD-700-2A12 Aircraft

The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all Bombardier, Inc., Model BD-700-2A12 airplanes. This AD was prompted by the discovery that a partial loss of thrust after an engine failure during a required navigation performance authorization required (RNP- AR) approach under certain weight, altitude and temperature (WAT) conditions, may lead to a descent below the specified path guidance. This AD requires a revision to the existing airplane flight manual (AFM), to incorporate updated WAT tables for RNP-AR approach operations. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.
