The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for Airbus Helicopters Model AS350B, AS350BA, AS350B1, AS350B2, AS350B3, AS350D, AS355E, AS355F, AS355F1, AS355F2, AS355N, and AS355NP helicopters. This AD was prompted by a report of a sliding door that was locked in the open position detaching from the helicopter during flight. This AD requires modifying certain upper rail rollers, installing a label on each sliding door, and prohibits installing affected upper rail rollers or a door having an affected upper rail roller. These actions are specified in a European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) AD, which is incorporated by reference. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.

The draft guidance was prepared under the auspices of the International Council for Harmonisation of Technical Requirements for Pharmaceuticals for Human Use (ICH). The draft guidance is the second in the ICH M13 series of guidances and describes the scientific and technical aspects of study design and data analysis to support bioequivalence (BE) assessment for additional strengths of orally administered immediate-release (IR) solid oral dosage forms (i.e., tablets, capsules, and granules/powders for oral suspension), including considerations for biowaivers. The intent of this draft guidance is to provide harmonized criteria and data that support waivers for drug applications with multiple strengths when in vivo BE has been demonstrated for at least one strength using the principles outlined in the final guidance "M13A Bioequivalence for Immediate-Release Solid Oral Dosage Forms" published in October 2024.
