🚤Proposed Safety Zone Impacting Businesses on Ohio and Licking Rivers

The Coast Guard is proposing to establish a temporary safety zone from Mile Marker 469.5-Mile Marker 470.5 of the Ohio River and from Mile Marker 0.0-Mile Marker 0.3 of the Licking River. This action is necessary to provide for the safety of life on these navigable waters near Cincinnati, OH, during the Red Bull Flugtag sporting event occurring on August 9, 2025. This safety zone prohibits persons and vessels from transiting through the safety zone unless authorized by the Captain of the Port Sector Ohio Valley or a designated representative.

✈️FAA Amends VOR Federal Airways and RNAV Routes Impacting Cincinnati

This action amends Very High Frequency Omnidirectional Range (VOR) Federal Airways V-5, V-47, V-97, V-128, V-275, and V-517, and United States (U.S.) Area Navigation (RNAV) Route T-315; and revokes VOR Federal Airway V-19. The FAA is taking this action due to the planned decommissioning of the VOR portion of the Cincinnati, KY (CVG), VOR/Tactical Air Navigation (VORTAC) navigational aid (NAVAID). The Cincinnati VOR is being decommissioned in support of the FAA's VOR Minimum Operational Network (MON) program.
