The ICR describes the nature of the information collection and its expected burden. This document describes an extension of a currently approved information collection for which NHTSA intends to seek OMB approval on the National Survey of the Use of Booster Seats (NSUBS). A Federal Register Notice with a 60- day comment period soliciting comments on the following information collection was published on April 2, 2025. One comment was received. The comment does not necessitate NHTSA making any revisions to the information collection or burden estimates.

In accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, FAA invites the public to make public comments about our intention to request the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) approval to renew an information collection. The Federal Register Notice with a 60-day comment period soliciting comments on the following collection of information was published on September 17, 2024. In accordance with Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) Part 121.311, the collection of data requires passenger carrying air carriers to make available on their websites the width of the narrowest and widest passenger seat in each class of service for each make, model and series of airplane used in passenger-carrying operations. The collected information will be utilized to support the use of child restraint systems on airplanes.

Evenflo Company, Inc. (Evenflo) has determined that certain Evenflo All4One child restraint systems do not fully comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 213, Child Restraint Systems. Evenflo filed a noncompliance report dated January 27, 2025, and subsequently petitioned NHTSA (the "Agency") on February 14, 2025, for a decision that the subject noncompliance is inconsequential as it relates to motor vehicle safety.
