✈️Proposed Airworthiness Directive for Bombardier Airplanes by FAA

The FAA proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all Bombardier, Inc., Model CL-600-2B16 (604 Variant) airplanes. This proposed AD was prompted by reports that the flap system on-board recorder (FSOBR) interfaces with the flap control unit signals and may result in the flap control unit monitors tripping, causing Flap Fail messages and possibly an uncommanded flap movement. This proposed AD would require the disconnection of the FSOBR and prohibit future installation of this system. The FAA is proposing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.

✈️Proposed Airworthiness Directive for Bombardier Aircraft Safety Updates

The FAA proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Bombardier, Inc., Model BD-700-1A10 and BD-700-1A11 airplanes. This proposed AD was prompted by a report that incorrect information was found in certain calculation tables in a section of the airplane flight manual (AFM) that addresses certain slat-flap conditions. This proposed AD would require revising the Non-Normal Procedures section of the existing AFM to provide the flightcrew with corrected procedures to use in certain slat-flap conditions. The FAA is proposing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.

✈️New Airworthiness Directive for Bombardier BD-700-2A12 Aircraft

The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all Bombardier, Inc., Model BD-700-2A12 airplanes. This AD was prompted by the discovery that a partial loss of thrust after an engine failure during a required navigation performance authorization required (RNP- AR) approach under certain weight, altitude and temperature (WAT) conditions, may lead to a descent below the specified path guidance. This AD requires a revision to the existing airplane flight manual (AFM), to incorporate updated WAT tables for RNP-AR approach operations. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.

✈️FAA Issues New Airworthiness Directive for Bombardier Airplanes

The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Bombardier, Inc., Model BD-100-1A10 airplanes. This AD was prompted by uncommanded horizontal stabilizer motion during several in- service events caused by a problem with the trim switch wiring. This AD requires installing the pitch/roll trim switch relays. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.

✈️Proposed Airworthiness Directive for Bombardier Aircraft Compliance

The FAA proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Bombardier, Inc., Model BD-700-1A10 and BD-700-1A11 airplanes. This proposed AD was prompted by a determination that new or more restrictive airworthiness limitations are necessary. This proposed AD would require revising the existing maintenance or inspection program, as applicable, to incorporate new or more restrictive airworthiness limitations. The FAA is proposing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.

✈️FAA Proposes Airworthiness Directive for Bombardier Air

The FAA proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Bombardier, Inc., Model BD-700-1A10 and BD-700-1A11 airplanes. This proposed AD was prompted by reports of engine-driven pump hydraulic pressure hoses for hydraulic systems number 1 and 2 chafing against the pylon in the aft equipment bay. This proposed AD would require an inspection of the engine-driven pump pressure hoses for any damage and minimum clearance between the engine-driven pump hydraulic pressure hose and case drain, suction pressure hose, and surrounding pylon structure; and corrective actions if necessary. The FAA is proposing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.
