The Coast Guard is proposing to establish an anchorage ground on the Neches River near Port Arthur, TX. This action is necessary to accommodate increased vessel traffic volume, improve navigational safety for vessels transiting the Sabine-Neches Waterway and provide for the overall safe and efficient flow of vessel traffic and commerce.
