Summary

The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Costruzioni Aeronautiche Tecnam S.p.A. (Tecnam) Model P-Mentor airplanes. This AD was prompted by the failure of the pilot seat locking mechanism. This AD requires an initial and repetitive inspections of the seat rails of pilot and co-pilot seats and completing corrective action as needed.
